Acer 17.3" Aspire AS7741Z-5731 Review

Acer 17.3" Aspire AS77XXX laptops are new model and I bought one of those computer a few weeks ago just to test it and how it works. These laptops cost from $460 to upward $1200 and works well for the price you are paying. This model looks great for its cheap price.

Aspire AS77XXX models look too bulky for its size and it is indeed quite heavy with 9.13 pounds of rocky weight. But it has many bright sides as well. Its ultra-bright display shines like a star and graphics look lot better and true colored then ordinary laptops. Also it comes up with 17.3” display and HDMI output which is hard to find in laptops at it class and price range. So if you are looking to use your laptop to watch movies or videos on your TV, or just to use your laptop as desktop, then this might be the laptop of your dream.

 As I was getting used to its flat keyboard for the first few days, I thought the keyboard was wired. Now I can't imagine anything else except that flat keyboard. Feels comfortable and barely makes any noise when you press.

I am a gamer and this laptop runs most of the games, although it’s not made for gaming. I can play World of Warcraft, Red Alert 3, Call of Duty, Runescape,  etc with exceptional graphics of its Intel HD graphics acceleration. Most of the laptop of its kind comes with Intel chipset with shitty quality graphics but it was different for this laptop. Besides gaming it’s great for browsing web, watching movies and videos.

It comes up with customizable touchpad, internal speaker, internal microphone, 2 megapixel camera which makes it a machine built for communication.

Another bright side is that its hardware is customizable. So if you know your computer you can easily upgrade what inside of your computer. The laptop comes up with 4 Gb of ram and it has 2 slots. So you can easily insert another 4 GB ram with its removable back. Its as easy as changing batteries from your remote. 

Only con I have experienced is the low battery life but like I said before its not very portable because of its bulky size. So you are better off without the battery.
